Mimi Barks is a German musician based in London who makes doom trap and trap metal. Her music places rapped and screamed vocals over trap percussion, industrial electronics and heavy guitar; the albums DEADGIRL and This Is Doom Trap include tracks such as “BANSHEE,” “GRIND” and “HOUSE FULL OF FAKES.” Mimi Barks performed at Download Festival during the DEADGIRL period, bringing the project onto a major UK metal stage. She later played headline club dates in Britain and performed at Bloodstock Open Air.
