Miossec in Soignies

Miossec is the stage name of French singer-songwriter Christophe Miossec, born in Brest in 1964. He established his terse, conversational approach to chanson on the 1995 debut album Boire, followed by records including Baiser, À prendre and 1964. “Non, non, non, non (Je ne suis plus saoul)” and “Brest” are among his best-known songs. Miossec toured after Boire and has brought subsequent albums to clubs and theatres with changing backing bands. He has also performed at Les Vieilles Charrues in Brittany and Les Francofolies de La Rochelle.
