Mira Lu Kovacs in Salzburg

Mira Lu Kovacs is an Austrian singer-songwriter and guitarist whose music moves through folk, indie pop and art pop. She led the trio Schmieds Puls on albums including Play Dead, I Care a Little Less About Everything Now and Manic Acid Love, then released music under her own name, including What Else Can Break and Please, Save Yourself. She is also the vocalist of the group 5K HD. Schmieds Puls established her voice-and-guitar live format alongside bass and drums, touring clubs and festivals behind the trio’s records. Under her own name, she performed at Popfest Wien and presented songs in arrangements created with Clemens Wenger at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Her stage work also includes the five-piece setup of 5K HD, formed with musicians from Kompost 3.
