Misato Watanabe in Tokorozawa

Misato Watanabe is a Japanese pop-rock singer born in Kyoto in 1966. She made her recording debut in 1985 and became widely known through “My Revolution,” followed by songs including “Kanashii ne” and “10 years.” Her major albums include Lovin’ You and ribbon. In 1986, she began an annual summer concert series at Seibu Stadium and staged it for 20 consecutive years through 2005. In 2015, she returned to the same site for a 30th-anniversary stadium concert, by which time the venue was called Seibu Prince Dome.
