Mnozil Brass in Innsbruck

Mnozil Brass is an Austrian brass septet formed in Vienna in 1992 and named after the Gasthaus Mnozil, where its musicians first played together. Three trumpets, three trombones and a tuba carry arrangements of classical music, jazz, folk, pop and schlager, while choreography, mime and comic sketches are built into the performance. The Yes! Yes! Yes! program was followed in the ensemble’s touring repertoire by Cirque, Gold and Phoenix. Mnozil Brass took these complete stage productions through concert halls and theatres on repeated European and North American tours. The ensemble has performed especially extensively in Germany and Switzerland and has returned repeatedly for tours in the United States.
