About Mocedades
Mocedades is a Spanish vocal group formed in Bilbao in 1967, initially under the name Voces y Guitarras. Its folk-pop and canción melódica repertoire is best known for “Eres Tú,” which placed second at the 1973 Eurovision Song Contest, as well as “Tómame o déjame” and “Amor de hombre.”
At Eurovision in Luxembourg, Mocedades presented “Eres Tú” through the close ensemble harmonies that became central to its concerts. The group later took that vocal format to Chile for the Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
