Mojo Blues Band in Oberwaltersdorf

Mojo Blues Band is an Austrian group formed in Vienna in 1977 by guitarist, singer and harmonica player Erik Trauner and pianist Joachim Palden. The band plays Chicago blues, boogie-woogie and rhythm and blues, documented on records including The Wild Taste of Chicago and Hot Bricks. In the late 1970s, the group began playing Vienna’s club circuit before taking its repertoire to venues and festivals around Europe. Its work with Champion Jack Dupree included concerts and the album Champ’s Housewarming, while Louisiana Red was another American blues musician it accompanied onstage.
