Molchat Doma in Sacramento

Molchat Doma are a Belarusian post-punk trio formed in Minsk in 2017. Their music is built on cold synthesizers, drum-machine rhythms, guitar and a low baritone vocal. The album Etazhi, particularly “Sudno (Boris Ryzhy),” brought them a broad audience outside Belarus; it also includes “Kletka” and “Toska.” Later albums include Monument and Belaya Polosa. In 2022, Molchat Doma played Coachella while touring North American clubs and theatres as a headliner. The trio also toured Europe that year and performed at Primavera Sound in Barcelona. The group performs as a trio: Yegor Shkutko sings, Roman Komogortsev plays guitar and synthesizers, and Pavel Kozlov handles bass and synthesizers.

Ditz are a British noise-rock band formed in Brighton in 2015. Their music draws on post-punk and post-hardcore, marked by abrasive guitars and tense rhythms. The albums The Great Regression and Never Exhale established the core of their recorded work. In 2022, Ditz toured clubs across the UK and continental Europe following the release of their debut album. The run ended at The Louisiana in Bristol, where the band recorded the performance later issued as the live album On The Bai'ou.
