Mike Patton in Guanajuato City

Mike Patton is an American vocalist, composer and producer, born in 1968 in Eureka, California. He is best known as the frontman of Faith No More and a co-founder of Mr. Bungle, and he also leads Fantômas and Tomahawk. His recorded landmarks include the Faith No More songs “Epic” and “Midlife Crisis,” the album Angel Dust and Mr. Bungle’s California. The Real Thing Tour took Patton around the world with Faith No More, and a 1990 performance at Brixton Academy was released as You Fat Bastards: Live at the Brixton Academy. The band’s reunion brought him to Download Festival in 2009, followed by touring behind Sol Invictus in 2015. For the Mondo Cane concerts, Patton performs with an orchestra, choir and band. The repertoire centers on Italian popular songs of the 1950s and 1960s, including material written or popularized by Gino Paoli and Fred Bongusto.
