Monika Absolonova is a Czech pop singer and musical-theatre actress, born in Benešov in 1976. Her recording catalogue includes the albums Jsem nevěrná and Zůstávám dál, and she is also known for leading roles in Czech musical productions. At Prague’s Divadlo Broadway, she played the title role in Kleopatra. She later portrayed Fanny Brice in Funny Girl and received a Thalia Award for her performance at the Josef Kajetán Tyl Theatre in Plzeň.
