Moontricks in Saskatoon

Moontricks are a Canadian electronic-folk duo from the Kootenay region of British Columbia, made up of Sean Rodman and Nathan Gurley. Their music combines banjo, guitar and blues-rooted vocals with electronic beats; the album Currents and tracks including “Home” and “Mountains” are central to their catalogue. Shambhala Music Festival has been an important stage in Moontricks’ live history, where the duo have presented a set built around live vocals, guitar, banjo and electronic production. They have taken the same two-person format to outdoor gatherings in the United States, including Electric Forest and Lightning in a Bottle.
