Moscow Death Brigade is a Russian group formed in Moscow in 2007, playing politically charged hardcore rap shaped by punk and electronic music. Performing in balaclavas, the collective addresses anti-fascism, discrimination and social solidarity. Its key releases include Hoods Up, Boltcutter and Bad Accent Anthems, while “Anne Frank Army” and “Brother & Sisterhood” are among its best-known tracks. After Hoods Up, the group established a touring presence in Europe’s punk and hardcore clubs, then played further headline dates around Boltcutter and Bad Accent Anthems. Its standard live format puts masked MCs over electronic production, matching rap delivery to rhythms built for hardcore rooms. Festival appearances have included Roskilde Festival in Denmark and Boomtown Fair in England.
