Mother's Finest is an American funk-rock band formed in Atlanta in 1970 by vocalists Joyce Kennedy and Glenn Murdock. The group plays hard rock rooted in funk and soul, and is known for the album Another Mother Further and songs including “Baby Love,” “Piece of the Rock” and “Love Changes.” In 1978, the band performed at Grugahalle in Essen for the German television series Rockpalast, creating a widely circulated document of its early stage work.
