Mr.B The Gentleman Rhymer in Tunbridge Wells

Mr.B The Gentleman Rhymer is the chap-hop persona created in 2007 by British musician Jim Burke. His comic rap draws on upper-class English diction, period dress and banjolele accompaniment; his best-known works include “Straight Outta Surrey,” “Chap-Hop History” and the album Flattery Not Included. Mr.B The Gentleman Rhymer performs solo, rapping over backing tracks and accompanying himself on banjolele. He has presented the act at Glastonbury Festival and to comedy audiences at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
