Mr. Irish Bastard are a German Celtic punk band formed in Münster in 2006. Their music sets punk-rock guitars and drums alongside Irish folk instrumentation, heard on albums including The Bastard Brotherhood, A Fistful of Dirt and The World, the Flesh & the Devil. Mr. Irish Bastard played early support shows for The Pogues before touring clubs across Europe under their own name. The band later took its full-band folk-punk set to China and Japan and performed at Wacken Open Air.
