Mr. Vegas in Wolverhampton

Mr. Vegas is a Jamaican dancehall singer and deejay, born Clifford Smith in Kingston. His clipped vocal delivery and melodic choruses became widely known through songs including “Heads High,” “Nike Air,” “Hot Wuk” and “Bruk It Down,” while his albums include Damn Right and Sweet Jamaica. Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay has featured Mr. Vegas on its dancehall programme, giving his catalogue a major Jamaican festival stage. He has also performed for large outdoor audiences in Europe at Rototom Sunsplash in Benicàssim and Summerjam in Cologne.
