Mrs. Greenbird in Duisburg

Mrs. Greenbird is a German folk-pop duo comprising singer Sarah Nücken and guitarist Steffen Brückner. They became known by winning the third season of Germany’s X Factor in 2012; their winning song, “Shooting Stars & Fairy Tales,” appeared on their self-titled debut album. Their catalogue also includes Postcards and Dark Waters. In 2012, Mrs. Greenbird performed throughout X Factor before taking the debut album’s material on tour in Germany. Later concerts drew on Postcards and Dark Waters, built around Sarah Nücken’s vocals and the acoustic playing of Steffen Brückner.
