Msaki in Lake Orion

Msaki is a South African singer-songwriter and composer whose music includes indie folk, Afro-soul and electronic dance collaborations. Her catalogue includes the album Zaneliza: How the Water Moves and the two-part Platinumb Heart project, while “Fetch Your Life” with Prince Kaybee and “Ubomi Abumanga” with Sun-El Musician brought her voice to wider dance audiences. Msaki and the Golden Circle presented her songwriting in a full-band setting at the National Arts Festival. She later recorded an intimate ensemble performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series.
