Murray Head in Bordeaux

Murray Head is a British singer-songwriter and actor, born in London in 1946, whose music ranges across pop and rock. He sang the part of Judas on the original concept album of Jesus Christ Superstar, including “Superstar,” and later recorded “One Night in Bangkok” for Chess. His own best-known songs include “Say It Ain’t So, Joe.” The live album Find the Crowd documented Murray Head’s concert work in the early 1980s. He developed a lasting audience in France and performed in theatres and concert halls there, including L’Olympia in Paris.
