Monika Martin in Bad Langensalza

Monika Martin is an Austrian schlager and folk-pop singer, born in Graz in 1962. She began her solo recording career with “La Luna Blu,” which became one of her signature songs, and is also known for “Heute fühl’ ich mich wie zwanzig.” From 1986 to 1992, she sang with the Graz dance band Heart Breakers before establishing her solo concert career. She has since performed in theatres, cultural halls and churches across the German-speaking world, building her programs around songs from her albums, including “La Luna Blu.”
