My Chemical Romance in Los Angeles

My Chemical Romance are an American rock band formed in New Jersey in 2001. Their alternative rock, punk and post-hardcore sound became widely known through the albums Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge and The Black Parade, and songs including “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena” and “Welcome to the Black Parade.” The Black Parade World Tour took the band through arenas in 2007 and 2008, concluding with a concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. They later co-headlined the 2011 Honda Civic Tour with Blink-182, then reunited for a 2019 show at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Their 2022 reunion tour covered arenas and stadiums in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, including multiple nights at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.

Thrice is an American rock band formed in Irvine, California, in 1998. Their early records The Illusion of Safety and The Artist in the Ambulance established a melodic post-hardcore sound, while Vheissu and the four-part The Alchemy Index moved into broader alternative and experimental rock. Their best-known songs include “Deadbolt,” “The Artist in the Ambulance” and “Black Honey.” The 2012 farewell tour preceded a hiatus and supplied recordings for the live album Anthology. Thrice returned to performing at Skate and Surf in 2015, then resumed sustained touring after the release of To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere. In 2023, the band played The Artist in the Ambulance in full on its 20th Anniversary Tour.
