My Son the Hurricane is a Canadian brass-funk band formed in Ontario’s Niagara region in 2010. The large ensemble plays horn-driven funk shaped by hip-hop vocals, jazz and ska; its catalogue includes the albums Ride the Bullet and Is This What You Want?!, as well as “Pushin’ Up Daisies.” The band has taken its large horn section, multiple vocalists and rhythm section through Canadian clubs and European festival tours, including Glastonbury Festival. Its UK festival history also includes Boomtown Fair.
