About Myriam
Myriam Montemayor Cruz, billed as Myriam, is a Mexican pop singer born in Monterrey in 1981. She won the first season of La Academia in 2002 and followed it with the album Mi historia; “Hasta el límite” became one of the songs most closely associated with her.
La Gira de la Generación took Myriam and the original cast into concert venues around Mexico after the first season. The tour included a performance at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.
