Artist
Nachtmahr is an Austrian electronic industrial project founded in Vienna in 2007 by Thomas Rainer, also known for his work with L’Âme Immortelle. Its hard-edged EBM and dark electro are represented by tracks including “BoomBoomBoom” and “Tanzdiktator,” as well as the albums Feuer frei! and Alle Lust will Ewigkeit. In 2009, Nachtmahr supported KMFDM on the North American Blitz tour, bringing the project to clubs and theatres across the United States and Canada. European live work has also included an appearance at Amphi Festival in Cologne. Beyond its home city, Wave-Gotik-Treffen brought Nachtmahr to Leipzig, while M’era Luna placed the project on another German festival stage in Hildesheim.
