Nadau is a French folk group formed in 1973, singing primarily in Gascon, a variety of Occitan associated with Gascony and Béarn. Led by Joan de Nadau, the group is known for songs including “L’Encantada” and “De cap tà l’immortèla,” which place regional language and culture at the centre of its repertoire. Nadau’s live history includes repeated concerts at the Olympia in Paris and major home-region performances at the Zénith de Pau, bringing its Gascon-language repertoire to both theatre and arena stages.
