Ne Obliviscaris in Syracuse

Ne Obliviscaris are an Australian progressive extreme-metal band formed in Melbourne in 2003. Their long-form compositions draw on black metal and death metal while making prominent use of violin, clean singing and harsh vocals. The albums Portal of I, Citadel, Urn and Exul include songs such as “And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope” and “Painters of the Tempest.” The Citadel World Tour included headline dates across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Touring behind Urn later brought the band to North America with Allegaeon, and the 2023 Exul World Tour paired them there with Beyond Creation and The Omnific. Ne Obliviscaris perform as a full band: Tim Charles plays violin and sings the clean passages, while Xenoyr handles harsh vocals.
