NEEDTOBREATHE in Grand Rapids

NEEDTOBREATHE is an American rock band formed in South Carolina in 2001. Their music draws on Southern rock, alternative rock and Christian themes, and they are known for songs including “Washed by the Water,” “Something Beautiful,” “Multiplied” and “Brother,” as well as the albums The Outsiders and Rivers in the Wasteland. The band launched Tour de Compadres in 2015 as a traveling multi-artist package, then mounted the Forever on Your Side (NALL) Tour in 2018. The Into the Mystery Tour followed in 2021 and included Switchfoot, while the Caves World Tour began after the release of Caves in 2023. NEEDTOBREATHE continues to headline outdoor amphitheatres such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, while its theatre appearances have included Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Conner Smith is an American country singer-songwriter, born in Nashville in 2000. He became known through songs including “I Hate Alabama” and “Creek Will Rise,” and released his debut album, Smoky Mountains, in 2024. In 2022, Smith made his Grand Ole Opry debut and opened arena dates on Thomas Rhett’s Bring the Bar to You Tour. He followed that exposure by leading his own If I Went to College Tour in 2023, taking his songs into club and theatre rooms under the Conner Smith name.
