Nekrogoblikon in Houston

Nekrogoblikon is an American metal band formed in Los Angeles in 2006. Their melodic death metal incorporates folk, power-metal and symphonic elements, while their songs and videos build a comic mythology around goblins. The band is best known for “No One Survives” and albums including Heavy Meta, Welcome to Bonkers and The Fundamental Slimes and Humours. The Goblin Mode Tour took Nekrogoblikon across North America in 2023, supported by Inferi, Aether Realm and Hunt the Dinosaur. In 2024, the band joined Dethklok and DragonForce on the Mutilation on a Spring Night tour. Nekrogoblikon performs as a full metal band accompanied by the costumed goblin character John Goblikon. The character also became the host of the interview series Right Now with John Goblikon.

Aborted are a Belgian death metal band formed in Waregem in 1995 by vocalist Sven de Caluwé. Their tightly played brutal death metal and grindcore attack is captured on albums including Engineering the Dead, Goremageddon: The Saw and the Carnage Done, Global Flatline and Retrogore. Aborted have performed at Graspop Metal Meeting and Hellfest, followed by further festival appearances at Wacken Open Air and Maryland Deathfest. In 2023, the Hell Over Europe 4 tour took them through European clubs with The Acacia Strain, Benighted and Fleddy Melculy. The group presents its material as a full-band metal set fronted by Sven de Caluwé.
