Nerina Pallot in Whitley Bay

Nerina Pallot is a British singer-songwriter, born in London in 1974 and raised in Jersey, whose music centres on piano-led pop and alternative rock. She debuted with Dear Frustrated Superstar, while the album Fires brought wider attention through “Everybody’s Gone to War” and “Sophia.” In 2006, Nerina Pallot toured the UK following the reissue of Fires, including a headline concert at Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Later tours accompanied The Graduate and Year of the Wolf, and she also established a recurring series of Christmas concerts at Union Chapel.
