New Boyz in Singapore

New Boyz are an American hip-hop duo formed in Hesperia, California, by Earl “Ben J” Benjamin and Dominic “Legacy” Thomas. Their 2009 single “You’re a Jerk” brought the jerkin’ dance style into pop rap, while “Tie Me Down,” featuring Ray J, and “Backseat,” recorded with The Cataracs and Dev, extended their run of crossover singles. Their albums are Skinny Jeanz and a Mic and Too Cool to Care. In 2009, New Boyz performed “You’re a Jerk” on BET’s 106 & Park as the song spread beyond the Southern California dance scene. In 2011 they played selected North American arena dates on Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. Tour.
