About New Medicine
New Medicine is an American rock band formed in Minneapolis in 2009 and led by singer and guitarist Jake Scherer. The band plays hard-edged alternative rock and is known for the albums Race You to the Bottom and Breaking the Model, as well as the songs “Rich Kids” and “One Too Many.”
New Medicine joined the inaugural Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival in 2010, performing on the Jägermeister stage during the traveling North American event. The lineup was headed by Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold.
