About New Years Day
New Years Day is an American rock band formed in Anaheim, California, in 2005 and fronted by singer Ash Costello. The group developed a hard-rock and alternative-metal sound across albums including Victim to Villain, Malevolence and Unbreakable, and is known for songs such as “Angel Eyes,” “Defame Me” and “Shut Up.”
The band played the 2013 and 2015 editions of Vans Warped Tour, bringing its music to the festival’s outdoor stages. In 2015, New Years Day also joined Motionless in White’s Beyond the Barricade Tour, followed by a 2019 North American run supporting Halestorm and In This Moment.
