Nick Cave & Warren Ellis in New York

Nick Cave & Warren Ellis are an Australian songwriting and composing partnership built on their long collaboration in Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Grinderman. They are known for the album Carnage and for film scores including The Proposition, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and The Road. In 2021, they took Carnage to theatres across Britain. Their 2022 North American tour included Kings Theatre in Brooklyn; an Australian run later that year ended at Sydney Opera House and supplied the recordings for Australian Carnage. At the 2021 and 2022 concerts, Cave sang and played piano while Ellis performed on violin, keyboards and electronics. The touring ensemble included drummer Larry Mullins and Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood.
