Nick Cope is an English children’s singer-songwriter from Oxford and the former lead singer of indie band the Candyskins. He is known to young audiences through the CBeebies series Nick Cope’s Popcast and songs including “The Baby’s Done a Poo,” “Why Is the Sky Blue?” and “The Lizard Song.” Nick Cope’s Family Show has toured theatres and arts centres around Britain. He performs his songs with acoustic guitar, stories and characters familiar from his television work, and has taken the show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
