Nick Hakim is an American singer, songwriter and producer raised in Washington, D.C., and based in New York. His music draws on psychedelic soul, R&B and experimental pop, with the albums Green Twins, Will This Make Me Good and Cometa among his central works. “I Don’t Know,” “Cuffed” and “QADIR” are key songs in his catalogue. In 2017, Hakim performed “Cuffed,” “Needy Bees” and “I Don’t Know” with a band at NPR Music’s Tiny Desk. The 2020 home edition presented material from Will This Make Me Good in a session filmed in New York.
