Nicolas Peyrac in Guipavas

Nicolas Peyrac is a French singer-songwriter, born in 1949, whose music sits between chanson and melodic pop. He became known in the 1970s through songs including “So Far Away from L.A.,” “Et mon père” and “Je pars,” writing narrative lyrics and composing much of his own repertoire. During the 1970s, Nicolas Peyrac performed at the Olympia in Paris as an opening act for Serge Lama, then built concerts around his own songbook. Les Acoustiques improvisées later returned that repertoire to French theatres in a voice-and-guitar format led by Nicolas Peyrac.
