About Nidji
Nidji is an Indonesian pop-rock band formed in Jakarta in 2002. The group became known through its debut album, Breakthru', and songs including “Hapus Aku,” “Disco Lazy Time” and “Biarlah.” Its recording of “Laskar Pelangi” served as the theme song for the film of the same name.
At the 2008 Asia Song Festival in Seoul, Nidji performed as Indonesia’s representative. After Giring Ganesha left the group, Ubay joined in 2019, and Nidji resumed live performances with him as lead singer.
