NIK P in Gmunden

NIK P is the stage name of Austrian schlager singer and songwriter Nikolaus Presnik, who was born in Friesach in 1962. His best-known song is “Ein Stern (… der deinen Namen trägt),” which became a major German-language hit in a 2007 recording with DJ Ötzi. His catalogue also includes “Gloria” and “Come On Let’s Dance.” NIK P has toured Austria, Germany and Switzerland with his own band, performing his songs in theatres, concert halls and open-air venues. His recurring Heimspiel concerts established a close connection to the Burgarena Finkenstein in Carinthia.
