About Nine Inch Nails
Nine Inch Nails is an American industrial rock project founded by Trent Reznor in Cleveland in 1988. Its catalogue moves between abrasive guitars, electronics and quieter piano-led writing, and is known for albums including Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral and The Fragile, as well as songs such as “Head Like a Hole,” “Closer” and “Hurt.”
The Self Destruct Tour supported The Downward Spiral and included the band’s mud-covered performance at Woodstock ’94. The Fragility tours followed around The Fragile, and Nine Inch Nails later mounted Lights in the Sky in 2008 before billing its 2009 dates as Wave Goodbye. Reznor brought the project back to concert stages in 2013 with Tension.
They played the United States most heavily and returned to the United Kingdom for concerts in London and Glasgow.
