Nocny Kochanek is a Polish heavy-metal band formed in Warsaw in 2012 by members of Night Mistress. The group pairs traditional metal riffs and high-register vocals with comic Polish lyrics about relationships, drinking and metal culture. The albums Hewi Metal, Zdrajcy Metalu and Randka w Ciemność include songs such as “Dziewczyna z kebabem,” “Koń na białym rycerzu” and “Andżeju...” The Zdrajcy Metalu Tour took the band through Polish clubs following its second album. In 2018, a festival performance was recorded for the concert release Nocny Kochanek – Woodstock 2018, documenting the group at Pol’and’Rock Festival; Randka w Ciemność was subsequently supported by Trasa w Ciemność.
