North Mississippi Allstars in Wilmington

North Mississippi Allstars are an American blues-rock band formed in Hernando, Mississippi, in 1996 by brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson. They play hill country blues and Southern rock, drawing on songs associated with musicians including R.L. Burnside and Junior Kimbrough. Their catalog includes the albums Shake Hands with Shorty, 51 Phantom, Electric Blue Watermelon and Up and Rolling. Do It Like We Used to Do: Live ’96–’08 documents more than a decade of the band’s performances, while Hill Country Revue: Live at Bonnaroo captures its 2004 festival set. The group has played primarily in the United States and has made repeated appearances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
