Northlane are an Australian metalcore band formed in Sydney in 2009. Their progressive, rhythm-heavy sound took shape on albums including Singularity, Node and Mesmer, while Alien brought electronic and industrial elements further forward. “Quantum Flux,” “Bloodline” and “4D” are among their best-known songs. In 2016, Northlane and In Hearts Wake toured Australia together around their collaborative EP Equinox. The Mesmer World Tour followed in 2017, and later headline runs were built around Obsidian and the Mirror’s Edge EP. The band’s festival appearances have included Download Festival and Australia’s Good Things Festival.
