Artist
Dohatsuten is a Japanese rock band formed in Sapporo in 1984. The group describes its music as “rhythm and enka,” pairing punk-rooted rock with the direct, emotionally charged character of enka; “Otona no Susume” is among its best-known songs. Dohatsuten resumed performing in 1999 after a lengthy hiatus and returned to touring around Japan. In 2014, the band celebrated its 30th anniversary with a concert at Nippon Budokan.
