Nu NRG is an Italian trance duo formed in Rome by producers Giuseppe Ottaviani and Andrea Ribeca. Their melodic, uplifting sound became known through releases including “Dreamland,” “Free Fall” and “Connective,” as well as the album Free Fall on Paul van Dyk’s Vandit label. Nu NRG performed as a live electronic duo, using synthesizers, sequencers and drum machines in a format documented by the 2002 Live at Orgasmatron set and the later Live in Germany release. After ending the project in 2005, Ottaviani and Ribeca reunited for a live performance at Dreamstate Southern California in 2023.
