Ocean Alley in Honolulu

Ocean Alley are an Australian band formed on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 2011. Their music draws on psychedelic rock, reggae and surf rock, and they became widely known when “Confidence,” from the album Chiaroscuro, topped Triple J’s Hottest 100 of 2018. Their catalogue also includes “Knees,” “Yellow Mellow” and the albums Lonely Diamond and Low Altitude Living. In 2019, Ocean Alley performed at Reading Festival and Leeds Festival during a run of British and European shows. Following the release of Low Altitude Living in 2022, the band played its album tour across Australia and New Zealand, then continued with dates in North America and Europe. The live format is a six-piece band led by Baden Donegal’s vocals, supported by guitars, keyboards, bass and drums. Their festival appearances have also included Splendour in the Grass in Australia and Sziget in Budapest.
