Oesch's die Dritten in La Tour-de-Trême

Oesch's die Dritten are a Swiss family folk group formed in 1997 in the Bernese Oberland. They play alpine Volksmusik, polka and schlager, built around Melanie Oesch’s yodelling and the family’s vocal harmonies. Their best-known songs include “Ku-Ku Jodel” and “Die Jodelsprache.” The 2018 Jodelzirkus tour brought their concert programme to theatres and halls in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The group later marked its 25th anniversary with a jubilee tour devoted to songs drawn from across its recording career. The six-piece stage lineup features vocals, accordion, Schwyzerörgeli, guitar and bass. Its arrangements place the lead singing and yodelling of Melanie Oesch at the centre.
