Oi Va Voi in London

Oi Va Voi are a British band formed in London in the late 1990s. Their music brings klezmer and Eastern European folk melodies into electronic, rock and trip-hop arrangements. The album Laughter Through Tears introduced songs including “Refugee,” “Yuri” and “Yesterday’s Mistakes”; KT Tunstall sang on several of its tracks. Oi Va Voi have taken their full-band show to Glastonbury Festival and Budapest’s Sziget Festival, presenting their strings, brass, vocals and rhythm section on large outdoor stages. Their London concert history also includes a headline performance at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
