Ólafur Arnalds in Prague

Ólafur Arnalds is an Icelandic composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist born in 1986. He writes contemporary classical and ambient electronic music built around piano, strings and subtle processing. His best-known works include “Near Light,” the albums Eulogy for Evolution and re:member, and his score for the television drama Broadchurch. The re:member tour featured Ólafur Arnalds alongside strings and percussion, while his Stratus system controlled two self-playing pianos that responded to his performance. The tour reached the Royal Albert Hall, and the later some kind of peace tour included a 2022 concert at Eventim Apollo.
