Olli Schulz in Dortmund

Olli Schulz is a German singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Hamburg in 1973. He began releasing records with multi-instrumentalist Max Schröder as Olli Schulz und der Hund Marie; their debut album, Brichst du mir das Herz, dann brech’ ich dir die Beine, appeared in 2003. His solo catalogue includes Feelings aus der Asche, Scheiß Leben, gut erzählt and songs such as “Spielerfrau” and “Wenn die Musik nicht so laut wär”. He is also known for co-hosting the podcast Fest & Flauschig with Jan Böhmermann. Olli Schulz und der Hund Marie toured in support of Wir sind Helden after their debut. Schulz later took Feelings aus der Asche on tour with a backing band, and his festival appearances have included Hurricane and Southside.
