Omoinotake in Tokyo

Omoinotake is a Japanese piano-pop trio formed in Tokyo in 2012 by school friends from Shimane Prefecture. Vocalist and keyboardist Leo Fujii, bassist Emoaki and drummer Doro play melodic J-pop shaped by soul and R&B. The group is known for “Everblue,” the opening theme to the anime Blue Period, and “Ikuokukonen,” written for the television drama Eye Love You. In 2015, the trio began performing street shows in Shibuya. Their tenth anniversary was marked by Omoinotake ONE MAN TOUR 2022 “DECADE,” followed in 2023 by a concert run supporting their first major-label album, Ammolite. That record supplied the title for Omoinotake ONE MAN TOUR 2023 “Ammolite.”
